$$\text{Power (HP)} = \frac{\text{Flow Rate (GPM)} \times \text{Total Dynamic Head (TDH) (ft)} \times 0.0208}{\text{Pump Efficiency}}$$

Where:

• Flow Rate (GPM) is the flow of water in gallons per minute.
• Total Dynamic Head  is the total height that the pump needs to lift the water, measured in feet.
• Pump Efficiency is a decimal (e.g., 70% efficiency would be 0.7).
